Engineer/Developer, you provide support for a suite of mission‑critical and complex applications, understanding both front and back‑end of the applications. The technology platform spans Linux and Cloud environments, Python, Big data/Hadoop and ML platforms. You lead and support quality control and QE testing of cross‑functional, multi‑platform application systems, writing robust, fault‑tolerant, self‑healing code, ensuring system reliability.

You’ll work closely with architecture, DevOps, business, and analytics teams to deliver systems that meet enterprise‑grade standards for performance, observability, security, and maintainability. What will you do?

- Coordinate coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of application solutions.
- Lead and participate in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on complex requirement documents and business user stories.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites.
- Execute automated test cases, document test results, and raise defects as needed.
- Track component or end‑to‑end issues as required.
- Use JIRA, Confluence, and qTest for test case management, defect management, and test reporting.
- Participate in defect triage and Scrum meetings.
- Test recent technologies and system functionality to ensure business, user, and system integration acceptance.
- Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and business partners from initiation to close, using strong communication and stakeholder‑management techniques.
- Continuously enhance your own skills and build knowledge across the organization, business, and information systems.
- Leverage AI to improve QE/DEV efficiency.
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain production‑grade Python applications for batch data processing, APIs, and web applications.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, automating build, test,



and deployment workflows. What do you need to succeed? Must‑have - Good knowledge of QE processes, testing methodologies, testing life cycle, SDLC, and defect management processes for application testing, development, and support; hands‑on experience with qTest, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Experience in a QA/test environment focused on technical, automated testing in Cloud, Unix/Linux, big data/Hadoop, and data warehouse environments.
- Strong problem‑solving, design, and analytical skills with creative thinking for testing approaches under critical timelines.
- Hands‑on coding experience in Python and Java.
- Excellent SQL script writing skills.
- Experience with ETL testing.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions preferred) and Git‑based workflows.
- Experience with Agile projects.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Computer Engineering, Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent experience. Nice‑to‑have - Experience with test automation frameworks/tools such as SoapUI/ReadyAPI, Postman, Selenium, and JMeter.
- QA related certification, e.g., ISTQB, Agile testing.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot.
- Experience on Machine Learning projects.
- Experience deploying, monitoring, and debugging applications in the cloud (AWS EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS). What’s in it for you?
