Key responsibilities include
- Processing weekly payroll and maintaining payroll records
- Managing accounts receivable, collections, customer payments, and aging reports
- Processing accounts payable and maintaining vendor records
- Supporting inventory accounting, reconciliations, and transaction accuracy
- Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assisting with month‑end and year‑end close activities
- Supporting audits and responding to audit requests
- Participating in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of accounting experience with exposure to payroll, AR, AP, and inventory accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial processes
- Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits & Environment
Benefits for this role include competitive compensation, RRSP matching, extended health and dental coverage, vision care, life insurance, and an employee assistance program. You'll join a collaborative team environment that values accuracy, accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development while providing exposure to multiple areas of accounting and business operations.
