At this time, only local candidates will be considered.Duties & ResponsibilitiesBe one of the primary contacts for equipment maintenance and servicesDispatch techs based on daily schedule (Shop and field) to reduce equipment downtimeAssist with troubleshooting / repair equipment when requiredReview and approve all parts requisitions and maintain ETA for each line item for workload scheduling purposesSchedule equipment incoming inspections as per site requirements and maintain filing system for auditing purposes (Cat inspect/ Fleet sheet)Review and sign off on daily timecardsReview and sign off on maintenance staff safety documentationPerform close out meetings and engage staffEnsure proper permits are in place for repairs as per company policies and make sure specific work area requirements are followed, e.G., PPE (goggles, respirators, H2S detectors)Be involved in sourcing and interviewing new hiresMaintain staff training for equipment movement and related proceduresRequirementsHeavy Duty Technician Red Seal Ticket required; dual ticket wouldbe anassetMinimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory/leadership roleExperience in construction would be considered an assetReliable transportation to get to workCandidates must be legally able to work in CanadaDrug and Alcohol testing may be requiredSense of urgency and ability to prioritizeExperience with ordering OEM parts and service programs considered an assetStrong computer skills are required, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and ExcelWe’re proud to be an Equal Prospect Employer and are committed to an inclusive, accessible workplace.
