Ar Contracting, based at Kitchener, ON N2C 2R9, is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Steel stud framer – carpentry who are self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills. The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. The open positions pertain to Permanent employment or full time jobs. The candidate must be available to work early morning, morning, and day shifts.

- The candidate must prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, using measuring tools.
- The candidate must be able to measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- The candidate must fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and renovating residential and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate should be reliable.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
- The candidate must be able to work at heights.
- The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
- The work site environment is noisy,
and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
- The candidate must work in a dusty environment.

- The candidate should work in construction trades and crafts, including bricklaying, stonemasonry, carpentry, joinery, demolition, electrical work, painting and decorating, plumbing, scaffolding, steeple jacking, and wall and floor work.
- The candidate must work in various locations to support employees stationed at different worksites.
- The candidate should work in renovation, repairing, restoring, and upgrading broken, damaged, or outdated structures.
