The Senior
Director, Bargaining and Services, will provide strategic oversight in member advocacy and labor relations. You'll facilitate effective collective bargaining while ensuring service excellence and operational integrity for UFCW 1518’s members. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic input for departmental planning and priorities
- Monitor trends affecting union workplaces and bargaining practices
- Offer expert advice on member services and labor relations
- Manage grievance files and facilitate timely resolutions
- Represent UFCW in meetings, negotiations, and public forums
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years in labour relations and collective bargaining
- Undergraduate degree related to labor law or HR
- Proven experience in team leadership and negotiation
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
