Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of French and Italian dishes with consistency, flair, and attention to detail
- Assist in food plating and presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes that meet quality standards
- Follow established recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders and stations
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are adhered to at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth meal service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation, including equipment and utensils, to promote safety and efficiency





Requirements

- Proven experience as a line cook in a restaurant setting, with specific expertise in French and Italian cuisine preferred
- Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards in the food industry
- Experience in serving guests directly or supporting food service operations is highly desirable
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure
- Solid understanding of kitchen safety practices, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
