Mati is seeking an experienced Host to join our front-of-house team.

As the first point of contact for our guests, this role plays an essential part in shaping the tone and flow of the dining experience. We are looking for a hospitality professional who is composed, attentive, and comfortable managing a dynamic dining room setting.

This position is best suited for someone with prior upscale restaurant experience who understands that exceptional service begins the moment a guest walks through the door. It is not intended for someone just starting out in the industry or someone seeking a short-term role, but rather for an experienced professional with strong availability and a genuine understanding of hospitality.

Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant workplace & open availability is required.

What You’ll Do
Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and confidence
Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists with precision
Maintain awareness of dining room pacing and table flow
Coordinate closely with servers and management to ensure smooth service
Anticipate guest needs and handle requests with poise




Maintain a polished and organized host stand
Contribute to a welcoming and refined atmosphere for every guest

What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2+ years hosting experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant
A calm, confident presence in a fast-paced service environment
Excellent communication and strong attention to detail
A polished, professional demeanor and strong guest-service instincts
Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively
Full availability for evenings and weekends
