Manager with international experience working in a multi-company setting to join our Finance team. Based in Ottawa, ON, the Finance Manager will oversee financial reporting, month-end processes, internal controls, and compliance with International accounting standards in particular USGAAP. Lead full cycle accounting, including general ledger management and full financial reporting and planning.

Oversee day to day accounting operations, providing coaching and mentorship, and monitoring performance. Manage the financial cash planning and forecasting process. Ensure that financial transactions and reporting are compliant with internal controls, accounting standards, and governmental requirements Provide and oversee financial support to internal partners and senior leadership.





Support the CEO & CFO with workflow process improvement and pursuing strategic or special projects. Lead performance management for direct reports, including objective setting, coaching and resolving personnel conflicts. Coaches team members with a wide range of financial acumen, primarily the direct reports within the Finance group.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role International finance and accounting experience Strong understanding of ASPE or IFRS, and tax compliance Globally Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools Experience with ERP systems, particularly IFS Cloud Other languages a bonus, in particular French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Arabic Experience our collaborative work setting and adaptable balance.
