Contribute to tailings management at Artemis Gold's Blackwater Mine in British Columbia. Seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to develop frameworks and oversee compliance in a 2 weeks on/off schedule. As a Geotechnical and Tailings Management Engineer, you will report to the Manager – Tailings & Water and be crucial in designing, evaluating, and managing tailings facilities.

The role includes coordinating investigations, maintaining regulatory compliance, and enhancing tailings strategies. This position requires collaboration with consultants and stakeholders, making it vital for mining operations. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures
Update life of mine tailings management strategy




Develop comprehensive tailings management frameworks
Coordinate dam raise designs and evaluations
Monitor construction activities and require documentation Requirements:
P.Eng. registration in Canada
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
7–10 years in a senior engineering role
Proficient in engineering software packages
Knowledge of dam safety principles and OMS requirements Bring your expertise in geotechnical engineering and tailings management to contribute significantly to Artemis Gold's operations.
