Engage with communities as a Caseworker for My Place at the John Howard Society of Saskatchewan. This full time role focuses on providing intensive case management and community support. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Caseworker will assist participants through case management and help connect them with essential community resources.
This position emphasizes a supportive, trauma-informed approach to assist individuals impacted by socio-economic challenges and the criminal justice system, using best practices in restorative justice and harm reduction. Key Responsibilities:
Provide intensive case management with a participant-centred approach
Connect participants to essential community supports
Assist in long-term housing solutions and applications
Offer stabilization and crisis support as needed
Maintain documentation in line with program standards Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 1 year practical experience
Knowledge of socio-economic issues impacting individuals
Understanding of restorative justice and harm reduction
Valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License
