Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front End Associate to join our team in delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer transactions, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and food industry operations while providing outstanding service to our guests.

Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a timely manner
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and card transactions
Prepare food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation
Manage food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain food safety standards
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, dining area, and service stations
Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as food prep and portioning when needed
Ensure proper food safety practices are followed at all times
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently




Handle cash accurately and balance cash register at shift end

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; experience with serving or cashiering is a plus
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is desirable
Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a rapid-paced setting
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed
