As a Junior Accountant, you'll assist the Accounting Team in maintaining accurate financial records within a casino workplace.

Key responsibilities include managing bank transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring timely processing of payments. You will also support accounts payable tasks and engage in various ad-hoc accounting functions, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare bank reconciliations and journal entries
Reconcile internal and external accounts accurately




Generate cost reports for ongoing projects
Ensure timely preparation of HST and NRT returns
Maintain organized accounting files and documentation Requirements:
1 year of accounting experience or equivalent
Post-secondary diploma/degree in Accounting preferred
Familiarity with accounting software, Great Plains an asset
Current enrollment in a CPA program is preferred
