Foot Care Assistant

Heel to Toe Foot Care is looking for a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Foot Care Assistant to support me while providing foot care services to seniors in retirement residences and long-term care homes throughout the Edmonton and Surrounding area.

This is an assistant position only. You will not be providing foot care treatments or nursing care. Your role is to assist me throughout the day to ensure our clients receive excellent service.

Pay: $19.00/hour

Responsibilities include
Assisting with setting up and cleaning equipment
Helping clients safely with socks and footwear
Assisting with secure transfers when needed
Managing supplies and organizing equipment
Escorting clients to and from appointments when required
Maintaining a qualified and friendly setting
Communicating with staff and residents throughout the day

Strong time management and organizational abilities
Dependable, punctual, and compassionate
Comfortable working with seniors




Able to work independently while taking direction

Physical requirements:This is an active position. Applicants should be comfortable:
Walking throughout retirement residences and care homes during the day
Climbing multiple flights of stairs when elevators are unavailable
Frequently bending, kneeling, and assisting clients with footwear
Pushing equipment and standing for extended periods
Performing physical tasks safely throughout the workday

A background in health care is welcome, but this is not a nursing position. I am looking for someone who enjoys supporting others, works efficiently, and isn’t afraid to stay active throughout the day.
