Drive excellence in facilities management for the City of Cambridge as the Manager overseeing civic and recreational facilities. Your expertise will enhance operational efficiency and community engagement while supporting strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Risk and Facilities, this leadership role entails managing all activities within the Facilities Management Section.

You’ll oversee budget preparations, resource management, and compliance monitoring, ensuring all facilities operate smoothly and meet safety standards. Your work will be pivotal for the recent Cambridge Recreation Complex, enhancing recreational prospects for the community. Key Responsibilities:
Negotiate and monitor building maintenance service agreements
Oversee preventive maintenance programs for City facilities




Guide development of policies and operational manuals
Act as key representative for corporate asset management
Manage a variety of contracts, ensuring compliance

Requirements:
Minimum five years in Property and Facility Management
Undergraduate degree in Architecture, Engineering, or relevant field
Certified Aquatic Technician or Pool Operator preferred
Robust supervisory skills and budget management experience
Valid G driver's license
