Examine ingredients or finished products to ensure conformance to company standards;
Check products and packaging for basic quality defects, verify accuracy and completeness of data;
Performing various in-line quality control checks;
Take samples of products at various stages of processing;
Conduct quality audits and assist in the development of quality management and quality assurance standards;
Perform data entry and record keeping. Regular filing and document management;
Provide assistance in testing and analysis of packaged food products;
Check and monitor product quality;
Daily review of production records, quality records and training records for accuracy;
Operating the laboratory equipment and performing regular maintenance as required;




Conduct routine tests for product specifications, Grade and label raw materials or finished products;
Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in nutrition, food science, quality assurance and control or a related discipline.
Interest in food/natural health products/pharmaceuticals is an advantage.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Motivated, positive attitude and an attention to detail necessary.
