The Finance & Properties Department plays a key role in establishing a strong foundation to support the fulfillment of this mission. They desire to use their technical skills to serve the advancement of the Gospel across the world.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the coordination and processing of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General LedgerContribute to the national budget processAssist with the preparation and analysis of regular financial statementsAs requested, maintain & develop solid internal controls in keeping the Financial Edge database cleanPerform period-end procedures, as assignedStrengthen processes, systems and efficiencies, as requestedPerform account investigations and reconciliations, as neededCommunicate with vendors/clients/employees via phone, email, mail or personallyAssist with various payroll functionsDESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.5+ years of experience in finance operationsStrong understanding of finance processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, budgeting, and reporting.Strong analytical skillsSolid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)Proficient in accounting softwareAdvanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.Experience with financial statement preparation.Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlinesExcellent communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities .PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of compliance requirements related to financial operationsCPA (Chartered Skilled Accountant) or other equivalent certificationsExperience with Blackbaud software solutions (Financial Edge, Raiser's Edge, etc.)Experience in a senior or supervisory role.Advanced knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.G., Tableau, Power BI).Exceptional interpersonal skills.Proactive, detail-oriented,
