In this vital role, you will utilize your expertise in quality assurance to support warehouse operations at Metro's Produce Distribution Centre. With 2-3 years of hands-on experience, you will conduct thorough inspections, guide training for receivers, and monitor compliance with health regulations. Your key duties will help maintain inventory rotation and high-quality produce standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards from suppliers
• Train receivers and monitor their adherence to practices
• Audit inventory for First In First Out adherence




• Identify and report quality issues during cooler audits
• Document all product rejections to facilitate proper disposition
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Quality Assurance preferred
• At least 2-3 years Produce Quality Assurance experience
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
• Solid ability to work independently
• Intermediate software skills in Microsoft Office
