You'll collaborate with an Indigenous Gardener, ensuring cultural knowledge is integrated within gardening activities. Join a passionate team dedicated to supporting community health through food security and education. Key Responsibilities:
Develop interactive garden curriculum with educators and Indigenous Gardener
Facilitate student-led lessons and hands-on salad bar sessions
Support ecological and cultural knowledge sharing in gardens
Care for and maintain community food growing spaces
Build relationships with diverse students using adaptable teaching methods Requirements:
Experience with students from kindergarten to grade 12
Basic training in horticulture preferred
Knowledge of organic gardening practices
Understanding of Indigenous cultures and current issues
