About the Role

Atrium Research is looking to hire an Equity Research Analyst to join our team and support our metals and mining coverage. Candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and clients in a rapid-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare research reports on small-cap equities in the metals and mining sector (explorers, developers, and producers) using fundamental analysis across initiation reports, research notes, research flashes, and thematic research reports
Develop and maintain in-depth financial models, including financial statement modelling, valuation, and comparative analysis
Collect and organize relevant data from various sources, including financial statements, industry reports, and market data
Complete ad-hoc research requests and support in all aspects of the research process




Assist Atrium's leadership team with certain operational tasks upon request

Qualifications and Skills
3+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, investment management, mine engineering, or geology.
University degree with a focus in Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline
Strong accounting, financial modelling, and analytical skills
Willingness to work in a rapid-paced entrepreneurial environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and manage several ongoing projects
Genuine interest in financial markets and investment analysis
