Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Saint John, NB

Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $32.00/Hour

Job Information:

This position requires experience operating various types of heavy equipment in a construction environment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in outdoor conditions for extended periods.

Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and backhoes in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
Follow directions from site supervisors to complete job tasks accurately.
Load and unload materials, explicit work areas, and assist with site preparation.
Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company procedures.
Ensure work is completed on schedule and meets quality standards.




Communicate clearly with crew members and report equipment issues promptly.
Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in construction or similar environment.
Valid Heavy Equipment Operator certification or equivalent experience.
CSA-approved steel-toed boots and required PPE.
Solid understanding of safety procedures and hazard awareness.
Reliable transportation to and from job site.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and terrain.
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Robust teamwork and communication skills.
