Electromechanically technician will work under the Maintenance
Supervisor as part of a team responsible for optimizing the machinery output by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery.
Responsibilities - Repair, install, assemble, maintain and test industrial equipment (industrial and stationary engines, pumps and compressors (NH3) automated and robotic systems, electrical and electronic controls, power tools, fans and blowers, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems);
Locate, determine and diagnose malfunctions in the plant and perform repairs;
Plan work ahead to increase efficiency in doing repairs;
Report any specific findings, known problem or delays to supervisor;
Other duties as assigned by the immediate
Supervisor Qualifications and Education
Experience - A high school diploma and vocational training or program are usually required.
Relevant manufacturing experience in a unionized workplace an asset
Successfully complete internal testing.
Relevant industrial experience preferred, experience in troubleshooting and repair.
Able to work under pressure in a rapid-paced setting.
Knowledge of HACCP/SQF standards an asset;
