Embrace a full time role as the Cultural Workshop Planner with Tsawwassen First Nation. Plan, coordinate, and deliver cultural events that highlight the rich traditions and language of the Tsawwassen community. This permanent position requires a skilled individual dedicated to preserving and celebrating the Coast Salish culture through workshops and community programs.
Collaborate with Elders and local artists while working closely with the Events & Food Services team. Every event planned aims to strengthen community bonds and support cultural revitalization. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver Language & Culture workshops and programs
Organize logistics for events including venues and supplies
Collaborate with various teams for event integration
Facilitate traditional teachings and cultural activities
Manage budgets and coordinate event-related purchases Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of event planning experience
Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
Experience with Indigenous communities preferred
Solid organizational and project management skills
Valid Class 5 Driver's License Utilize your skills in event planning and cultural awareness to make a meaningful impact at Tsawwassen First Nation.
