Key Responsibilities:



• Define and execute Vanguard’s Applied AI R&D; strategy • Drive innovation in foundation models and agentic AI • Develop architectures for reasoning and adaptive decision-making • Establish methodologies for secure and trustworthy AI systems • Partner with business and product teams for AI adoption

Requirements: • PhD or Master’s in a relevant discipline • 7+ years leading AI or ML teams • Expertise in large language models and AI applications • Strong communication skills influencing senior leadership • Hands-on experience with contemporary ML frameworks
