Hello! My name is Angela, and I am a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Supply, a specialized recruitment agency focused on supply chain, logistics, transportation, and customer service. We recruit for both temporary and permanent positions throughout the Greater Montreal Area.

Mission The Company Our client is a well-established retail organization in Canada. As part of a temporary replacement, the company is seeking a Demand Planner to support its replenishment team.

The Role

As part of the planning team, you will be responsible for forecasting inventory needs across multiple product categories. You will play a key role in analyzing sales trends, developing demand forecasts, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure product availability across the company’s network. You will collaborate closely with Purchasing, Allocation, suppliers, and Distribution Center teams to support an efficient supply chain.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain sales forecasts for various product categories
Analyze sales trends, seasonality, and supply requirements
Determine order quantities to optimize inventory levels
Follow up with suppliers regarding purchase orders and deliveries




Collaborate with Buyers to support category strategies and sales objectives
Ensure proper product allocation based on store requirements
Work closely with Distribution Centers to ensure inventory availability within required timelines
Identify inventory challenges and recommend appropriate solutions. Your profile Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; 1 to 3 years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Allocation, or Supply Chain
Retail experience is considered an asset
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced workplace
Robust interest in supply chain, demand planning, and inventory management.

Conditions

Temporary contract of 12 to 15 months (maternity leave replacement)
