As a Construction Safety Officer at TYBO Contracting, you will champion our safety culture and directly influence site safety across our projects.

This role requires a minimum of five years of safety experience, ideally within civil infrastructure, along with robust interpersonal skills to foster compliance and trust among workers. Your leadership will be critical in maintaining our rigorous safety standards and ensuring adherence to WorkSafeBC regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor site-specific safety plans and enhance protocols




Conduct training and orientations for workers and subcontractors
Perform safety inspections and hazard assessments in office
Lead incident management and investigate safety concerns
Track safety issues and recommend improvements Requirements:
5+ years safety experience in civil or earthworks
Advanced First Aid Certification (Level 3)
CSO or NCSO designation required
Up-to-date knowledge of BC safety regulations
