Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas, using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
Supervise cleaning staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance to ensure timely completion of daily cleaning routines
Conduct routine facilities maintenance checks to identify issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or safety hazards, and coordinate repairs as needed
Maintain cleaning schedules and logs to ensure consistent sanitation standards across all areas
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and timely replenishment
Enforce health and safety protocols to create a secure environment for staff and visitors
Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans during off-hours or scheduled periods
Skills
Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance with a solid understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently
Knowledge of maintenance practices related to building systems, fixtures, and equipment
Solid attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
Ability to communicate clearly with team members, management, and external vendors
Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning duties for extended periods
Certification in health and safety standards or facilities management is a plus
