The Salvation Army seeks a dedicated Childcare Support Assistant to foster a secure and engaging workplace for children. As an essential member of the childcare team, you will assist the RECE and contribute to educational programs that stimulate children's growth.

Your role will encompass monitoring play, ensuring cleanliness and safety, as well as meal preparation in compliance with health regulations. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to creating an inclusive atmosphere for all children. Key Responsibilities:
Engage children in play and learning activities
Maintain a clean and organized classroom space




Support children's routines including feeding and toileting
Monitor mealtimes for safety and enjoyment
Communicate effectively with families about children's progress Requirements:
At least one year of experience in childcare
Knowledge of child development principles
Valid Food Handler Certification
Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
