Soo Spice Yeti is a Nepali and Hakka restaurant committed to serving authentic, high-quality cuisine in a welcoming environment. We are seeking a reliable and experienced cook to join our kitchen team.

Job Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of Nepali, Hakka, and Indo-Chinese dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, marinating, and portioning food items.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure all meals are prepared and presented in a timely manner.
Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in accordance with food safety regulations.
Follow all health and safety procedures and sanitation standards.
Assist with inventory management and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
Minimize food waste through proper handling and portion control.
Receive and store food deliveries following food safety guidelines.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house employees during busy service periods.




Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations.
Train and support kitchen helpers when required.
Perform other related kitchen duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Completion of secondary school.
Previous experience as a cook is required.
Experience preparing Nepali, Hakka, or Indo-Chinese cuisine is considered an asset.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
