Join a agile medical simulation and training team supporting clinical skills education and research programmes. This role provides logistical, technical, and administrative support for laboratory operations, ensuring training facilities, equipment, and specimens are well-prepared to support healthcare education and innovation.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare laboratory facilities, equipment, and specimens for clinical skills training, workshops, and research activities.
Provide technical and logistical support during training sessions and simulation workshops.
Assist with specimen handling, embalming, dissection, and laboratory procedures in accordance with established protocols.
Perform radiography duties when required.
Manage laboratory inventory, equipment maintenance, and stock replenishment.
Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and external partners to support laboratory operations.
Maintain high standards of laboratory safety, cleanliness, and infection control.
Support body donation and tissue bank programmes where required.
Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and compliance with laboratory procedures.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the reporting officer.
Job Requirement
Minimum secondary education or equivalent qualification.
Basic computer literacy for administrative and documentation tasks.
Comfortable handling cadaveric specimens, including formalin-preserved specimens.
Knowledge of human anatomy will be advantageous.
Able to work weekends and extended hours when required to support training activities.
Responsible, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining laboratory safety and hygiene standards.
