Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to program, set up, and operate Okuma CNC turning centers. You will produce high-precision components from blueprints while ensuring strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate Okuma CNC turning centers and lathes.
Edit and optimize OSP control programs at the machine.
Select and install proper cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures.
Read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T; symbols.
Inspect your own parts using micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges.
Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic daily preventative maintenance.

Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of CNC turning setup and operation experience.
Control Expertise: Proven experience with Okuma OSP controls is required.
Technical Skills: Solid blueprint reading and manual inspection skills.
Math Skills: Solid understanding of shop math and trigonometry.
Attributes: High attention to detail and robust problem-solving skills.
Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
