Insight Global is looking for a Backend Developer to join a leading wealth management client supporting the continued buildout of a digital advisor portal. The environment is highly team-oriented and fast-paced, with a robust emphasis on up-to-date cloud-native development using AWS.

This role is a short term (3 month) initial contract with the opportunity for conversion to full time employment and high likelihood of extensions based on performance.

Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js in a cloud-native environment

Develop and manage infrastructure using AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit)

Contribute to the ongoing enhancement and expansion of a digital advisor portal for wealth management clients

Partner with cross-functional teams (product, UX, frontend, architecture) to deliver recent features end-to-end





Build scalable APIs and microservices to support client onboarding, account management, and investment workflows

Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of backend systems

Strong hands‑on experience with Node.js

Experience building and deploying infrastructure using AWS CDK

Deep understanding of AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB/S3, etc.)

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices

Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization

Exposure to advisor platforms or digital onboarding flows

Experience with TypeScript

Experience working in agile environments #
