As a crucial member of the Broadcast and Recording Service Branch, you’ll report to the Supervisor, Operations, and work alongside experienced broadcast specialists.
This role emphasizes your expertise in operating electronic apparatus for live broadcasts, recording proceedings, and maintaining high-quality audio and video. Your tact and confidentiality in a politically sensitive setting will be essential. Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain broadcasting equipment for House and Committee coverage
Digitally record proceedings to archive Legislative sessions
Ensure top-tier audio and video quality during broadcasts
Set up and manage remote audio, video, and streaming systems
Collaborate with the team for audiovisual setups at events Requirements:
Two-year college diploma in broadcasting
Six months of relevant experience in audio and video
Knowledge of broadcast equipment and video editing
Ability to lift heavy equipment and install cables
