Overview

We are seeking energetic and reliable casual moving helpers to assist with various moving and loading projects on an as-needed basis. This role offers flexible, cash-friendly hours perfect for individuals looking to stay active and contribute to smooth moving operations. If you enjoy physical work and teamwork, this prospect is ideal for you!

Duties
Assist with loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and other household items during moves
Help organize and pack items efficiently for transport
Operate heavy equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, or clamp trucks safely when required
Support team members in managing warehouse distribution tasks related to moving operations
Ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage during transit




Follow safety protocols while lifting heavy objects or operating equipment
Maintain a clean and organized work workplace throughout the move

Skills
Experience in warehouse distribution or similar physical roles preferred
Mechanical knowledge or experience with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or cranes is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Familiarity with warehouse management systems or shipping & receiving processes is advantageous
Construction experience or order picker skills can be beneficial
Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively during busy moves
Knowledge of load & unload procedures, order picking, and warehouse safety standards
