Join Breast Cancer Canada as a Remote Philanthropy Officer, dedicated to driving major gifts for impactful breast cancer research in the GTHA. This role emphasizes building strong donor relationships and securing substantial contributions.
In this position, you will bring at least five years of experience in major gift fundraising, developing and executing a strategy for donor pipeline growth. Emphasizing effective communication and organization, you will inspire supporters to commit to annual and multi-year donations that fuel the mission of BCC.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive revenue growth through major gift solicitation
• Develop a strategic donor pipeline of 100+ prospects
• Research new prospects to enhance fundraising initiatives
• Write and submit successful grant applications
• Engage with volunteers to establish effective donor relations
Requirements:
• Minimum five years’ experience in fundraising for major gifts
• Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills
• Familiarity with work from home environments
• Competence with CRM and research tools
• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent
