What you will do:
Read and interpret blueprints
Plan the sequence of tasks and assemble parts according to drawings
Fabricate steel weldments and use measuring instruments
Assemble and fit metal sections and plates together to form complete units or sub-units
Fasten components together (by tack weld) in preparation for a welder to complete the process
Operate and use various other tools and hand grinders
Maintain a clean, orderly and protected work workplace at all times
Ensure workmanship throughout the manufacturing process and on finished goods meets or exceeds the cost, quality and schedule expectations of all customers
Active participation in WBM Safety Program, ensuring that workplace safety exists at all times
Other duties as required
A minimum of 3 years related experience
Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with others
Time management skills to productively complete work and meet all deadlines
Organizational skills to plan out and coordinate work in a logical manner
Analytical skills to identify problems and find a solution, or seek advice from the supervisor
