We are currently seeking experienced, professional, and motivated Tactical Security Guards to join our retail security division in Cold Lake, Alberta.

This is a highly visible position responsible for protecting our client's assets, reducing retail shrink, preventing theft, and maintaining a safe environment for customers and employees. Successful candidates will demonstrate professionalism, integrity, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond confidently to security incidents while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct tactical foot patrols throughout retail locations.
- Deter, detect, and report theft, fraud, and suspicious activity.
- Provide a visible security presence to reduce shrink and protect company assets.
- Observe, document, and report incidents accurately and professionally.
- Respond to emergencies and security incidents in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation.
- Liaise professionally with store management, employees, customers, and law enforcement when required.
- Enforce client policies while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Complete detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Minimum Qualifications Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum one (1) year of retail Loss Prevention or Tactical Security experience.
- Valid Alberta Security Services Worker Licence (Security Guard Licence) is mandatory.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.




- Strong report-writing and observational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in agile situations.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts when required.

Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are considered strong assets:
- Valid Handcuffing and Use of Force Certification.
- First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Previous retail tactical security or organized retail crime experience.
- Experience working with major retail chains.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and reliable transportation.




- Ability to travel between multiple work locations as operationally required.

Operational Requirements Successful candidates must be willing and able to:
- Work extended or modified hours with short notice when operationally required.
- Work at various client locations throughout Alberta.
- Meet all company uniform and appearance standards.
- Successfully complete all required onboarding, orientation, and site-specific training.
