Responsibilities
Assist adults with disabilities in daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and household tasks
Support individuals in developing life skills through coaching and encouragement
Use effective communication skills to understand and respond to each person’s unique needs, including proficiency in American Sign Language if applicable
Administer medications safely and accurately following prescribed instructions
Implement care plans tailored to each individual’s goals and requirements
Foster positive relationships by promoting independence, self-esteem, and social engagement




Maintain detailed documentation of support provided, progress notes, and incident reports

Requirements
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in caregiving roles is highly desirable
Knowledge of special education principles and practices is a plus
Solid communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
Ability to administer medications responsibly following safety protocols
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ growth and well-being
Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules as required
Certification or training in caregiving or related fields is advantageous
