Our client, a small sized O&G; upstream producer, is looking for a solid Operational Accountant for a 12 month contract term.
The role is 5 days in the office, with the offices being in downtown Calgary.
Key Responsibilities; Month end accruals and accounting; Analysis and preparation of operational accounting in oil and gas, including capital accoutning, month end reporting, JV accounting, etc
Month end accruals for AFE and CAPEX expenditures; Allocating costs to different projects; Reviewing JV agreements and ensuring compliance; Reviewing and adjusting for budgets; Communicating with operations and field staff on a regular basis; Requirements; 3+ years in a similar role
3+ years O&G; upstream experience, ideally in a smaller company
