In this senior role, you will leverage your expertise in underground mining and strategic planning to guide critical projects while mentoring junior engineers. Your responsibilities will include leading development for Life-of-Mine plans, managing mining studies, and collaborating with stakeholders for optimal operational integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead development of Life-of-Mine plans aligned with corporate goals
Direct strategic planning studies focusing on mine design and scheduling
Collaborate on geological, operational, and environmental integration
Conduct evaluations for mine project feasibility and trade-offs
Monitor Joint Ventures to ensure operational excellence
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mining or Geological
Minimum 15 years of experience in planning or supervisory roles
Familiarity with NI-43-101 mining standards
Proficiency in mining software: Deswik, Surpac, or Vulcan
