Step into the role of Senior Youth Worker and help at-risk youth navigate their challenges. Lead case management efforts, provide mentorship, and promote healthy lifestyle transitions in this full-time opportunity.
This position focuses on serving and supporting homeless and street-involved youth in a leadership capacity. You will oversee support staff and provide essential guidance to those accessing resources, advocating for their needs while ensuring a protected and respectful environment. Your expertise will facilitate meaningful change in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and intake new youth clients for services
• Implement strategies for crisis intervention and resilience
• Collaborate effectively with local community resources
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of interactions
• Ensure compliance with agency safety and quality standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience with at-risk youth
• Current First Aid certification needed
• Clear Criminal Record Check essential
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention experience is advantageous
