Traffic Control Person *- $17.50 -$19.50/hour

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with the setup of temporary workplaces
Direct traffic at temporary workplaces
Warning workers of impending danger

Training & Requirements:
Provincial Traffic Control Person Certification
Steel-toe boots
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Temporary Workplace Signer - $ /hour

Responsibilities include:
Ensuring temporary workplace are signed in accordance with provincial requirements
Ensuring all equipment required for the day is loaded on the truck prior to departing




Interacting with customers in the field to understand scope of work and level of traffic control required
Ensuring Traffic Control Persons are following all safety policies in the field
Acting as a Traffic Control Person while crew members are on breaks/lunches
Performing routine inspections of temporary workplaces

Training & Requirements:
Provincial Traffic Control Person Certification
Provincial Traffic Control Agent/Signer Certification
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Steel-to boots

At this time, priority will be given to those who are willing to be assigned the task of driving for current TWS. Must have a valid NS license and clean abstract.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $17.50-$21.50 per hour

Nova Scotia Traffic Control Person Certificate (preferred)
Nova Scotia Temporary Workplace Signer Certificate (preferred)
Nova Scotia Class 5 Drivers license (required)
