About the Role

StudioX News is hiring an Advertising Sales Representative to help grow our local business partnerships and sponsorship revenue. This role focuses on reaching Surrey and Lower Mainland businesses, especially those serving diaspora and newcomer communities.

You will represent the publication professionally, build relationships with clients, and help them understand the value of advertising with a multilingual digital news brand. This position is ideal for someone who is confident, organized, and comfortable with outreach.

Key Responsibilities
Build and manage a prospect list of local businesses.
Reach out to prospects by phone, email, and in person.




Hold discovery conversations and present advertising options.
Prepare insertion orders and track active accounts.
Maintain a sales pipeline and provide weekly reporting.
Attend chamber events, business associations, and local networking opportunities.

Qualifications
Confident spoken English.
Comfortable with cold and warm outreach.
Organized record keeping and consistent follow-up.
Valid BC driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
Fluent written and spoken English is required.

Assets
Punjabi or Hindi is a robust advantage.
Prior sales, retail, or customer service experience.
Familiarity with local business communities.

Pay: $36,500.00-$105,748.98 per year
