Location: Victoria, British Columbia
Compensation: $70,000–$100,000 annually, based on experience
Architecture and Design Firm: A respected architectural studio on beautiful Vancouver Island in Victoria, is seeking an experienced Architect or Architectural Professional to join its growing team. The practice has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work across a diverse portfolio of public and private sector developments. With a collaborative culture and a hands‑on approach, the firm offers team members the chance to contribute meaningfully throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all stages of project development, from initial planning and design through construction and project closeout
- Produce architectural drawings, designs, and presentation materials using industry-standard software
- Prepare and coordinate detailed construction documentation
- Work directly with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams
- Assist with project coordination, project management, problem‑solving, and design development throughout delivery
- Conduct site visits and support construction administration activities
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across project documentation and deliverables
- Work with aspects of business development
Qualifications
- Registered Architect or Intern Architect eligible through AIBC is preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of working knowledge from within the architectural industry in North America
- Experience working with community, healthcare, public/institutional projects strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and related design software
- Demonstrated experience in design development, contract documents, and construction‑phase services
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
