Senior Technical Manager, Bridges and Civil Structures
Innovate and Lead – In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of transformative infrastructure projects that shape Ontario’s future. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, influence strategic decisions, and deliver excellence on projects that define mobility for generations. From highways and rail to pedestrian bridges and unique structures, your expertise will leave a lasting impact.
Your Impact Design and deliver complex bridge and transportation structures that enhance safety and connectivity across Ontario. Oversee inspections, rehabilitation strategies, and construction support to ensure quality and compliance. Drive innovation by introducing advanced methodologies and digital solutions to optimize project outcomes.
Mentor and inspire emerging engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence. Represent WSP in client engagements, industry committees, and thought leadership initiatives.
The Skills That Set You Apart
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario, with a bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred. 10–20 years of experience in bridge engineering, including leadership on major transportation projects.
Expertise in structural analysis software (e.g., CSIBridge, MIDAS) and advanced knowledge of CAN/CSA‑S6 standards. Proven track record in Design‑Build/P3 projects and familiarity with MTO CPS/HICO and BIM tools.
Robust commercial acumen and ability to develop proposals, manage budgets, and deliver client value. Compensation

• NU: $162,200 – $212,200 MB &
• ON: $148,000 – $198,000 Atlantic Provinces &
• QC: $146,500 – $194,600 The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance and business or organizational needs.
