Reporting to the Director Water Engineering and in collaboration with the Senior Engineer, Engineering and Operational Managers, the successful candidate is responsible for supporting and executing a wide variety of design projects involving water pumping stations, water reservoirs, water treatment plant and water distribution; including preparation of drawings, specifications and ensuring designs comply with regulatory and safety standards, preparation of contract documents, estimates, and the selection and procurement of equipment. The successful candidate supports the creation, monitoring and measurement of annual sustainment and enhancement projects; updates and maintains the asset management system, including the data, analysis and reporting for the water production and distribution system assets and analyses data to continue to improve the systems’ performance; investigates and implements software and engineering tools for the department.
