You’ll work alongside collaborative, forward-thinking, and results-driven teammates.You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks, savings, and opportunities within our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Core Teams, Scheduling, and Cost Control), facilitate workshops to gather inputs for risk analysis, and provide actionable insights through robust risk reporting and dashboards.You’ll specifically take care of creating and maintaining the consolidated Risk and Opportunity Register, but also leading quantitative risk analyses to inform target pricing and schedule planning.We’ll look to you for:Ensuring project members are trained in Risk Management through seminars and training coursesSupporting project teams in identifying and assessing risks, opportunities, and mitigation actionsLeading brainstorming sessions for risk, saving, and opportunity identificationCollaborating with risk owners to define, implement, and monitor mitigation actionsDeveloping scoring rationales for risks and opportunities,
and integrating them into project schedules and budgetsPerforming integrated quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses using Risk Management softwareDelivering clear, actionable risk reporting and dashboards to senior leadership and stakeholdersMonitoring and reporting risk KPIs and ensuring quality standards are metAll About YouWe value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering5-7 years of experience in risk managementExperience with Monte Carlo Risk Assessment toolsProficiency in QCRA and QSRA for multi-million-dollar railway or infrastructure projectsComprehensive understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and toolsStrong analytical skills for risk and opportunity assessmentsProject management experienceGood knowledge of railway products and systemsExperience working with internal processes (Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality, and their interfaces)Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skillsAACE Certified (DRMP)/PMI-RMP or IPMA-D, PMP certification is an assetThings you’ll enjoyJoin us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
