Would you like to act as a mini-CFO for a portfolio of high-growth software businesses, with a clear path to the top that isn't blocked by anyone else's timeline? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Canadian technology and software group, a dynamic portfolio company within a well-established, publicly traded parent. With a large number of independently managed software companies, the group offers a unique environment focused on long-term growth, strategic acquisitions, and operational excellence.

Act as the primary finance partner for a defined subset of the group's operating businesses ($20m–$30m net revenue), providing financial insights and challenging assumptions alongside executive leadership. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Manage acquisition accounting and purchase price allocation (PPA) processes in support of ongoing M& A activity.

Support operational efficiency initiatives, including process improvements and analysis.



Lead a team of 5–6 finance professionals, including a high-performing offshore team. Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and assist in revenue recognition, acquisition accounting, and related technical accounting areas.

Help shape the integration of AI agents into finance processes as part of a broader push through 2026. The company is offering a solid compensation package including an attractive base salary, and annual performance bonus. CPA designation with public accounting experience, ideally within financial reporting, statement preparation, and management reporting.

Proven experience working with IFRS, revenue recognition, acquisition accounting, and M& A integration. An interest in modern finance tooling, including AI-driven process improvement.
