This position is a travelling “on the road” role, with a Fly In, Fly Out, schedule rotation.This role is a key technical resource in rolling out, running and supporting our field‑deployable XRF‑analysis, hyperspectral and core photography systems. Platforms include Veracio’s scanning units and support for supporting software.Minimum QualificationsMust be authorized to work in CanadaField experience working on a drill rig; mining or exploration core facility (highly desirable)Understanding of handling and logging core samples (desirable)Excellent customer service orientation and ability to maintain relationships with key account customers and internal team.Demonstrated interest in digital technologies and new innovationsExcellent communication skills – oral and writtenAttention to detail and robust initiativeProficient in MS Office suiteA current drivers’ licenseBasic electrical and mechanical skills (desirable)4WD and Senior First Aid (desirable)Ability to work on a varied rosterPrimary DutiesTrouble shooting and fault finding of technical and practical use issues tied to proprietary analytical equipmentUnderstanding how to operate and trouble shoot our field‑deployable electronic equipment and supporting softwareConduct field and workshop scanning activitiesLogistical support for field scanning operationsEscalate and document incidents in line with company Issue Management SystemEscalates issue of moderate complexity to senior staff.Travel regularly, including on short notice, to fulfil the above responsibilities.Additional ResponsibilitiesPerforms hands‑on troubleshooting, service and repairs.Contribute to creations of SWP’s and training documentationProvide material support to Product Development teams through testing and reporting activities, and operational rollout.Training of client field technicians to safely and efficiently operate our field deployable analytical technologiesTravel to field and other Veracio operational sites to perform duties where required.Comply with EHS Policy and KPIs.Compensation, Benefits and PerksTalented people are attracted to companies with long‑term success and a supportive workplace culture that encourages work‑life balance.
