About ICM Tennis

ICM Tennis is one of Durham Region’s growing tennis academies, offering high-quality tennis programs for children, juniors, adults, schools, camps, and community organizations.

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and professional Tennis Instructors and Club Professionals who are passionate about developing players in a positive, fun, and professional environment.

Whether you are an experienced Club Professional or an ambitious Instructor looking to grow your coaching career, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging group and private tennis lessons.
- Coach players of all ages and skill levels.
- Create safe, fun, and well-organized learning environments.
- Follow Tennis Canada progressive coaching principles.
- Demonstrate proper technique, footwork, tactics, and sportsmanship.
- Monitor player development and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate professionally with parents, players, and staff.
- Assist with camps, tournaments, leagues, special events, and community programs.
- Set up and maintain courts and coaching equipment.
- Represent ICM Tennis with professionalism on and off the court.

Qualifications

Required

- Previous tennis coaching experience.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Passion for teaching children and adults.




- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred
- Tennis Canada Instructor Certification.
- Tennis Canada Club Pro 1, Club Pro 2 or higher.
- TPA Membership.
- First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience with group programs, camps, and private lessons.

Pay $22.00–$30.00 per hour

Compensation is based on coaching experience, Tennis Canada certification, performance, and responsibilities.
