Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for healthcare and building strong customer relationships? We are seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive growth, expand market share, and support customers across Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional who thrives in a consultative, customer-focused environment and enjoys spending significant time in the field.
What You'll Do As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and executing territory growth strategies while serving as a trusted partner to healthcare customers.
Key Responsibilities Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas.
Develop and execute short- and long-term territory growth strategies, including annual business plans.
Identify new business opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline to support territory objectives.
Increase market share by successfully converting competitive business.
Partner with clinical educators to provide product training and in-service education to customers.
Ensure appropriate technical scope reviews are completed prior to sale.
Maintain accurate account profiles, customer activity, and opportunity records within the CRM system.
Prepare and submit required reports, including forecasts, activity reports, and expense reporting.
Manage demonstration and evaluation equipment inventory, ensuring proper documentation and presentation.
Attend regional medical conferences throughout Alberta and provide support for national conferences as needed.
Support provincial contract opportunities, including Alberta healthcare procurement and RFP processes.
Spend a minimum of three to four days per week in the field meeting with customers.
Complete additional projects and assignments as required.
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 5+ years of successful sales experience.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout Alberta
Residence in the Calgary or Edmonton metropolitan area.
Proven ability to build relationships, uncover opportunities, and close business.
Preferred Qualifications University degree preferred.
Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Experience within medical devices, healthcare, emergency services, or a related industry.
Knowledge of Alberta healthcare procurement processes and hospital purchasing environments.
Experience supporting provincial contracts and RFP submissions. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Solid understanding of medical terminology and healthcare sales environments.
Strategic selling and territory management expertise.
Customer-focused approach with excellent relationship-building skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Exceptional organizational and time-management capabilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively discuss clinical and technical product applications.
Intermediate proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
